Your practice, on your device. Last updated September 27, 2026.
What Viram keeps, and where
Viram stores your settings, your saved rhythms (My rhythms), and your practice history on your phone only. For each practice it keeps the practice name, its rhythm, when you practiced, how long, how many rounds, and whether you finished or ended early. There is no account and no server. Viram never asks for your name, email, location, contacts, or health data.
What Viram doesn’t do
- No ads and no advertising or analytics SDKs.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of practice data.
- No microphone, camera, location, or Health access.
Backups, export, and deletion
Your Viram data is part of your phone’s own backup (iCloud or Google), so a phone restored from backup keeps your practice. You can export everything as one file from Settings › Your data; the file goes only where you send it. You can delete your local history from Settings at any time; your settings and saved rhythms stay unless you delete them too.
Share links
A share link contains only a practice name, its rhythm, how long it runs, and, for library practices, which one it is based on. It contains nothing about you, your device, or your history. Anyone who has the link can read it. Opening a link in Viram sends nothing anywhere: the app reads it on your phone.
When a link opens this website instead, the page reads the rhythm in your browser. The site sets no cookies and runs no trackers or third-party scripts. Our host keeps standard server logs (such as the page requested and the time), which we look at only in aggregate, for example to count how often shared-practice pages are visited. Store buttons carry a fixed campaign name so we can count installs that came from share links; they never include anything about you or the link.
Guidance audio
Voice guidance is generated by AI from Viram’s scripts before release and bundled in the app. Nothing you say or do is sent to a voice service.
